Learn how to use this product The protein-free media support high-density cultures without the use of animal-origin components.

ProCHO-5â„¢ Protein-free CHO Media facilitates the production and downstream processing of recombinant proteins expressed in high-density CHO suspension cell cultures. The medium is formulated without animal-derived components and contains low levels of recombinant insulin to facilitate downstream purification and regulatory compliance.

Depending on your need you can select one of the following media:
ProCHO™4 is a unique solution that enables the concurrent transition of adherent CHO cells to serum-free culture in suspension. Its standout feature is the faster doubling times it offers. CHO cells growing in suspension with 0.1% Pluronic® F-68, without L-glutamine, hypoxanthine, or thymidine, can obtain higher protein yields. Phenol red is optional.
ProCHO™5 contains 0.1% Pluronic® F-68 and does not contain L-glutamine, phenol red, hypoxanthine, or thymidine. It is excellent for CHO cells growing in suspension by supporting increased protein production.
ProCHOâ„¢AT is perfect for the adherent culture of CHO cells. It contains L-glutamine but does not contain hypoxanthine or thymidine.
