This formulation corresponds to 100x of the non essential amino acids found in the standard MEM. The formulation corresponds to 100x of the non-essential amino acids found in the standard Minimum Essential Medium (MEM).
The MEM NEAA is used as an additional amino acid pool for rapidly proliferating cells or for cells that have lost the ability to synthesize non-essential amino acids on their own. The non-essential amino acids include glycine, L-alanine, L-asparagine, L-aspartic acid, L-glutamic acid, L-proline, and L-serine.
