Thermo Scientific's Adhesive PCR Sealing Foils provide a strong adhesive seal for plates used in PCR applications. The sealing material helps protect reactions against evaporation during PCR. Each foil is peelable and can be pierced directly with a pipette tip when access to individual wells is required. The adhesive is formulated so that piercing does not leave adhesive buildup on the pipette tip. This supports direct well access without the residue described for some sealing materials. The foils can be used across a temperature range from -40°C to +120°C, covering both low-temperature conditions and the elevated temperatures used during PCR. These adhesive PCR plate foils combine a strong seal with peelable and pierceable handling characteristics. The pack contains 100 individual sealing foils for PCR plates.
