X-VIVO 15 with Gentamicin, Phenol Red and Transferrin, 1L is a serum-free cell culture medium for defined lymphocyte and hematopoietic cell culture conditions. It is formulated with L-glutamine, gentamicin, recombinant transferrin, and phenol red, with recombinant transferrin replacing native transferrin in this version.
The medium is optimized for the proliferation of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes and supports purified CD3+ cells isolated from peripheral blood and human tumors. It can also be used with peripheral blood lymphocytes, granulocytes, natural killer cells, monocytes, macrophage cells, and cell lines. In addition, it provides a serum-free environment for the expansion of HUT-78 and related human lymphocytic cell lines.
This formulation is not for GMP manufacturing, human or animal in vivo use, use as a diluent or excipient, or diagnostic use. The 1L format provides a ready-to-use volume for cell culture workflows requiring X-VIVO 15 medium with gentamicin, phenol red, and recombinant transferrin as part of the formulation.
