Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® high capacity Spin Column Kit is perfectly suitable for rapid purification of Strep-tag®II and Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins from multiple small samples in parallel. The kit contains the ready-to-use wash buffer and an elution buffer, 50% suspension of Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® high-capacity resin, and empty spin columns. The spin columns are not prefilled with resin for customer-specific application and experimental design. If the spin columns are filled with, for example, 100 µl of Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® high capacity resin (50 µl column bed volume), up to 600 µg protein can be purified.
The frit in the lower part of the empty spin column has a mesh size of 10 µm that ensures that the resin remains in the spin column while the sample or buffer flows through rapidly during the centrifugation process. The spin columns are compatible with conventional 1.5 ml or 2.0 ml reaction tubes and the maximum filling volume is 700 µl.
