RNA Markers 1each are RNA transcript markers covering 0.5 to 9 kb. Marker sizes include 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9 kb.
The markers are supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/ml. They may be denatured using standard procedures and can be visualized on Northern blots with labeled lambda sequence.
For agarose gel visualization, ethidium bromide staining can detect 4 µg, corresponding to 4 µl, on a standard agarose gel. Smaller quantities can be detected with GelStar Nucleic Acid Gel Stain or SYBR Green II Gel Stain.
