ProCHO 4 Protein-free Medium, without Phenol Red, FFM, 1L is developed for recombinant protein production and downstream processing in CHO cells. The protein-free formulation supports high-density cultures without the need for animal-derived components.
The medium contains very low levels of recombinant insulin to support downstream purification and regulatory compliance. It is used for concurrent transition of adherent CHO cells to serum-free and suspension culture and supports faster doubling times.
This formulation is without phenol red and does not contain L-glutamine, hypoxanthine, or thymidine. ProCHO 4 Protein-free Medium can be used in fed-batch cell culture with feeds such as eCHO Feed, PowerFeed A, and CHO Xtreme Feed.
