Thermo Scientific's Phire Reaction Buffer is a 5X, non-colored reaction buffer designed for Phire Hot Start II DNA Polymerase. This product is supplied as four 1.5 mL tubes and represents the standard non-colored format within the Phire Reaction Buffer range. The buffer range is available in three formats: a non-colored formulation with detergents, a non-colored detergent-free formulation and a green formulation. The green version contains a density reagent and two tracking dyes, allowing PCR products to be loaded directly onto a gel. The colored buffer is described as not interfering with enzyme performance. Phire Reaction Buffer is also compatible with downstream applications including DNA sequencing, ligation and restriction digestion. This product provides the standard non-colored 5X formulation rather than the detergent-free or green versions.
