Thermo Scientific's Phire HSII PCR Master Mix 1000 x 50 µL rxns is a ready-to-use 2X PCR master mix designed to reduce the number of pipetting steps during reaction setup. The formulation combines Phire Hot Start II DNA Polymerase, nucleotides and an optimized reaction buffer containing MgCl₂ in a single mix.
To prepare a PCR reaction, only template DNA and primers need to be added. Separate addition of the polymerase, nucleotides and magnesium-containing buffer is therefore not required for the stated setup.
