Unlike Nanodrop-type instruments, the NanoPhotometer® requires no recalibration or maintenance. The Implen Nanophotometer works with accurate path lengths defined by high-precision metal parts. The part makes an up-and-down motion without the use of a mechanical wheel. Wheels get exhausted over time, resulting in poor consistency. The Implen systems measuring part use up-and-down motion without a motorized wheel, meaning it will not deviate over time. The system automatically sets the correct path length for the best measurement results depending on the sample and the corresponding absorbance required. In addition, the sample surface consists of fully scratch-resistant quartz. You don't have to compromise on accuracy and reproducibility and have a lifetime maintenance-free system.
Sample compression: accurate measurement without evaporation
The patented Sample Compression Technology™ provides unmatched precision through fixed measurement geometry. The system applies an automatic switch to an alternative fixed path length depending on the sample concentration. Sample compression has the added benefit of preventing evaporation by holding the sample in place. This sealed and protected microenvironment allows reliable measurements of nucleic acids and proteins and even samples in volatile solvents.
The NanoPhotometer® has a built-in Intel Celeron dual-core 2.4 GHz processor and onboard memory for fast storage of methods and data. Connect through Wi-Fi, USB, HDMI, or LAN to export your data anywhere. Take the small and lightweight unit anywhere. The optional battery pack supplied with the mobile version offers 8 hours of stand-alone operation. Choose a NanoPhotometer with a built-in computer equipped with a glove-compatible touchscreen for maximum ease of use.
Preprogrammed UV/Vis spectrophotometer applications are available for nucleic acid quantitation and purity check using the 260/280 and 260/230 ratios. Effortlessly measure dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA, mRNA, miRNA, and Oligos, including dye-labeled samples. Perform protein quantitation and purity check using the 260/280 ratio and measure BSA, Antibodies, IgG, IgE, Serum Albumin, and other samples—small molecules in organic solvents, kinetics, and many other applications.
The Implen NP80 offers a wide detection range, cuvette, and microsample measurements. Together with the built-in vortex, you have everything to perform high-end nano measurements. When you don't need a cuvette option but are looking for a wide detection range and outstanding measurements, the Implen N60 is the best system for you. If you can also live without a built-in vortex, go for the Implen N50. The Implen C40 consists of a cuvette reader that offers a broad spectrum scan of 200-900 nm but no micro-sample measurements.
