Capricorn Scientific’s FreezeMe ZERO Primary is a chemically defined, DMSO-free cryopreservation medium for the long-term storage of primary immune and stromal cells. It is suitable for PBMCs, T cells, NK cells, mesenchymal stem cells and other primary stem cell populations.

The formulation is designed to preserve native cellular physiology during freezing and thawing while minimizing transcriptomic, metabolic and epigenetic changes associated with DMSO. It supports post-thaw viability and rapid functional recovery without DMSO-induced activation artefacts. The medium is sterile-filtered, serum-free, protein-free and free from animal-derived components.

FreezeMe ZERO Primary can be used with adherent and suspension cells. Recommended cell densities range from 1 × 10⁶ to 1 × 10⁸ cells/mL for stem cells and from 1 × 10⁶ to 2 × 10⁷ cells/mL for PBMCs, T cells and NK cells. The 50 mL bottle is suitable for laboratories preparing multiple samples or larger cryopreservation batches.

Store the medium at +2°C to +8°C and protect it from light. The product is intended for research and further manufacturing use.
