Flashgel RNA starter kit is a starter kit for beginning RNA analysis with FlashGel® Cassettes. The kit contains the elements needed to start testing RNA samples with the FlashGel® RNA workflow, while the FlashGel® Dock is not included. The FlashGel® System is recommended for verification and analysis of total RNA, quick checks of native RNA, checking RNA degradation and assessing mRNA purity. RNA fragments are analysed with the same fast and simple procedure used for DNA. The FlashGel® System for RNA is 5-20X more sensitive than ethidium bromide gels and can clearly detect RNA below 10 ng per band. FlashGel® FLX Cassettes enclose the gel and running buffer, while the FlashGel® FLX RNA Prestain Loading Buffer is used in a workflow designed to be RNase-free.
