4D-Nucleofector X Unit is one of the functional modules of the 4D-Nucleofector System. It supports Nucleofection of different cell numbers, ranging from 2 × 10⁴ to 2 × 10⁷ cells, and can be used with different formats.
The module is supported by cell type-specific Optimized Protocols or recommendations, in which Nucleofection conditions are indicated for individual cell types. It can be operated with Core Unit versions AAF-1001B, AAF-1002B, and AAF-1003B.
The 4D-Nucleofector X Unit measures 24.5 × 10.5 × 28 cm and weighs 4.7 kg. It operates at 100–240 VAC with a 50–60 Hz frequency range. Power consumption is 0 VA when powered off, 20 VA in idle mode, and 140 VA during transfection. The operating temperature range is +15°C to +40°C in a non-condensing environment.
