4D-Nucleofector LV Unit is used for large-scale transfection with the 4D-Nucleofector System. The LV Unit PRO supports fixed-volume and flow-through cartridge options, enabling different sample handling formats for process development and manufacturing-oriented workflows.
The fixed-volume cartridge can be used with filling volumes of 0.5 mL, 1 mL, 1.5 mL, and 2 mL and is manually loaded through an injection port using a pipette. The flow-through cartridge supports flexible volumes up to 20 mL and is automatically filled using 4D-Nucleofector LV Reservoirs or bags. Its PVC tubing can be connected to upstream and downstream equipment via manual Luer connection or sterile welding.
Transfection protocols can be established at smaller scale with the 4D-Nucleofector X Unit and transferred to the LV Unit PRO with limited re-optimisation in 500 µL volume. The unit measures 24.5 × 20.7 × 28 cm, weighs 6.1 kg, and operates at 100–240 VAC with a 50–60 Hz frequency range. Operating temperature is +15°C to +40°C in a non-condensing environment.
