The Xtreme RNA has been specifically optimized for the RNA extraction of stabilized saliva and buccal swab samples using spin column technology for 50 x 0.5ml stabilized saliva or 50 swabs stabilised in BuccalFix.
XMR use an enzymatic method for the disruption of RNAses and is designed for retrieval of high purity and yield RNA. The kit does not contain any toxic phenol, chloroform, β-mercaptoethanol, or guanidine salts.
