Thermo Fisher's Verso SYBR 1-Step QRT-PCR ROX Kit 200 rxns is designed for one-step RT-qPCR with SYBR Green chemistry and ROX passive reference dye. The reverse-transcription and qPCR stages are completed in one tube, limiting transfers and reducing sample handling.
Verso reverse transcriptase has a working temperature range of 42–57°C and is described for efficient transcription through difficult RNA secondary structures. The stated RNA detection range is 1 pg to 1 µg. An optional RT Enhancer can be used during reverse transcription to reduce genomic DNA contamination without a separate DNase I treatment.
The master mix contains an inert blue dye to improve contrast against plastic consumables and make dispensing easier to verify. The ROX configuration is intended for instruments that use this passive reference dye.
The kit is compatible with major real-time thermal cyclers and is supplied for 200 reactions.
The one-step format is intended for experiments in which the generated cDNA does not need to be stored for later use.
