Thermo Scientific's Verso SYBR 1-Step QRT-PCR Low ROX Kit 200 rxns supports one-step RT-qPCR using SYBR Green chemistry and a low ROX passive reference dye concentration. Reverse transcription and real-time PCR are completed in the same tube, reducing transfer steps and sample handling.
Verso reverse transcriptase works across 42–57°C and is described for templates with difficult RNA secondary structures, including GC-rich targets. The stated RNA detection range is 1 pg to 1 µg. An optional RT Enhancer can be included during reverse transcription to reduce genomic DNA carry-over without a separate DNase I treatment.
An inert blue dye increases contrast between the reagent and the reaction vessel, helping users verify that master mix has been dispensed. The Low ROX format is intended for real-time PCR instruments that require a reduced ROX concentration.
The kit is supplied for 200 reactions.
The one-step format is intended for experiments in which the generated cDNA does not need to be stored for later use.
