Thermo Scientific's Verso 1-Step QRT-PCR ROX Kit 200 rxns is a one-step RT-qPCR kit for probe-based mRNA detection, supplied for 200 reactions. Thermo Scientific's Verso 1-Step QRT-PCR ROX Kit 200 rxns is a one-step RT-qPCR kit for probe chemistry and mRNA detection. Reverse transcription and qPCR are performed in the same tube, reducing sample handling between the two stages. The kit is supplied for 200 reactions. ROX reference dye is incorporated in the supplied mix. The Verso reverse transcriptase operates across a 42–57°C working range and can transcribe RNA templates with secondary structure. The stated detection range is 1 pg to 1 µg of RNA. The full reverse-transcription reaction can be used as template for the qPCR step. An optional RT Enhancer is provided to reduce genomic DNA carry-over during reverse transcription, which can remove the need for a separate DNase I treatment. An inert blue dye increases the visual contrast between the reagent and plastic during reaction setup, making master-mix dispensing easier to verify. The kit is intended for applications including gene-expression analysis, RNAi validation, microarray validation, pathogen detection, genetic testing and disease research.
