Thermo Scientific's VersiPlate, 96-well PCR Plate White - 25 plates is a low-profile PCR strip-tube plate arranged in a 12 × 8, 96-well ANSI format. The white plate is supplied as a pack of 25.
Each row consists of a linked strip of eight tubes. Small tear points between the strips allow a single strip or several strips to be separated according to the number of reactions required. This format supports simultaneous handling of multiple samples while allowing unused strips to remain available for later work.
The low-profile tube geometry reduces the space between the sample and the heated lid of the thermal cycler. The plate can be combined with VersiCap Mats, cap strips, adhesive seals or heat seals. It is intended for PCR and qPCR or real-time PCR applications.
The separable strip construction provides the convenience of a 96-well plate while reducing the need to use a complete plate for smaller reaction sets.
