Thermo Scientific's ThermoFast 96 PCR Detection Plate, Fully Skirted BC-128 (25) is a low-profile 96-well plate for PCR and real-time PCR. The full-skirted format has an ANSI footprint and is stackable, supporting use in automated systems.
Uniform thin well walls support consistent heat transfer, while raised rims around the wells help create a secure seal and limit evaporation. The plate has a cut corner at the H1 position.
Each plate carries dual industry-standard Code 128 barcodes, positioned on opposite numeric and alpha sides. The barcode labels are described as resistant to temperatures from −196°C to 120°C and have a coating intended to reduce rubbing during handling.
The product is supplied as 25 fully skirted, barcoded 96-well plates.
The low-profile design reduces the space above the reaction mixture. Together with the full skirt and stackable footprint, this supports plate handling in manual and automated PCR setups. The plate format is intended for repeated thermal cycling with compatible instruments.
