Thermo Scientific's Thermo-Fast 96 Semi Skirted PCR Plate (25) White is a white 96-well semi-skirted PCR plate with a segmented design for qPCR. The patented segmentation allows the plate to be cut into 24- or 48-well sections when a smaller working format is required.
The semi-skirt increases rigidity and provides an area for labelling or barcoding. Raised rims around the wells support secure sealing and help limit evaporation. Uniform, thin well walls are designed for consistent heat transfer, and the plate has a cut corner at H1.
Each well has a maximum volume of 0.3 mL when the plate is used with adhesive or heat seals. The product is supplied as 25 plates.
