Thermo Scientific's Thermo's white Thermo-Fast 96 Non-Skirted Low-Profile Plate is a 96-well plate for qPCR and real-time PCR. Its wells are shorter than those of the standard-profile AB-0600 plate, reducing the space between the sample and the thermal cycler's heated lid. This low-profile configuration helps limit condensation on the side walls of the wells and prevents loss of reaction volume.
The plate is particularly recommended for reaction volumes below 20 µL and has a maximum fill volume of 0.2 mL per well. Its white colour facilitates sample tracking. The non-skirted design provides improved access for liquid handling, is compatible with standard multichannel pipettes and includes an H12 cut corner for plate orientation.
This version combines a white 96-well format with low-profile wells and non-skirted construction. It is supplied as a pack of 25 plates. The white colour, 0.2 mL well capacity and low-profile geometry are the defining specifications of this qPCR plate format.
