NuSieve GTG Agarose 125g is a low melting temperature agarose for resolving DNA fragments, PCR products and RT-PCR products from 10 to 1,000 bp. It forms easy-to-handle gels and provides consistent DNA mobility from lot to lot.
Cloning procedures can be performed directly in remelted NuSieve GTG Agarose, avoiding separate DNA extraction steps. The agarose is also compatible with reactions carried out in the presence of the remelted gel and is tested and certified for reliable ligation and transformation of DNA directly in remelted agarose.
The product is tested for the presence of proteases, ligases and nucleases. Analytical specifications include a gelling temperature of ≤35°C at 3%, a melting temperature of ≤65°C at 3%, and a gel strength of ≥500 g/cm² at 3%. The product is supplied in a 125g pack.
