MycoZap Mycoplasma Elimination Reagent - 5 treatments is used when mycoplasma contamination has occurred and the sample cannot be discarded. The reagent can clear detectable mycoplasma contamination in as few as four days.
The reagent is optimised to eliminate mycoplasma with minimal toxic effects on infected cells. It uses a combination of antibiotic and antimetabolic agents, providing an approach that cannot be achieved by antibiotics alone.
MycoZap Reagent can be used to eradicate Mollicutes from cell cultures, including Mycoplasma, Acholeplasma, Spiroplasma, and Entomoplasma species. This pack contains five treatments.
