LymphoPrime 2, Complete Karyotyping Medium for Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes, is a ready-to-use medium for cultivating peripheral blood lymphocytes for chromosome evaluation and is a newly designed and optimized formulation. With years of know-how, Capricorn Scientific™ has developed a formulation that results in better performance and extended stability.
The LymphoPrime 2 formulation contains L-glutamine, pre-tested fetal bovine serum, phytohemagglutinin-M (PHA-M), antibiotics, and an optimized concentration of growth-promoting factors. The modified formulation allows an extension of the shelf life to two years. It is supplied as a frozen medium and ready for use after thawing. LymphoPrime 2 can be an excellent alternative to products like BIO-PB™ Karyotyping Medium (BIO-PB™ is a registered trademark of the Sartorius Group).
