GelStar Nucleic Acid Gel Stain 2x250ul is a fluorescent nucleic acid stain for DNA and RNA detection. It detects both double-stranded and single-stranded nucleic acids and can be used either by adding the stain to agarose before casting or by post-staining gels.
The stain provides a strong signal-to-noise ratio with minimal background. Maximum sensitivity reaches 20 pg of dsDNA or 3 ng of RNA.
This product is suitable for gel staining workflows where flexible staining options and high sensitivity are required. It is supplied in a 2 x 250 µl format.
