Capricorn Scientific’s FreezeMe ZERO Primary is a chemically defined cryopreservation medium developed for the long-term storage of primary immune and stromal cells. The DMSO-free formulation is suitable for PBMCs, T cells, NK cells, mesenchymal stem cells and other primary stem cell populations.

The medium helps preserve native cellular physiology during freeze–thaw cycles while minimizing transcriptomic, metabolic and epigenetic changes associated with DMSO. It supports post-thaw viability and rapid functional recovery without DMSO-induced activation artefacts. The sterile-filtered formulation is serum-free, protein-free and free from animal-derived components.

Recommended cell densities range from 1 × 10⁶ to 1 × 10⁸ cells/mL for stem cells and from 1 × 10⁶ to 2 × 10⁷ cells/mL for PBMCs, T cells and NK cells. FreezeMe ZERO Primary can be used with adherent and suspension cells.

The pack contains five individual 10 mL bottles. This format supports easy handling and convenient storage when the medium is used across separate experiments or cryopreservation sessions. Store the bottles at +2°C to +8°C and protect them from light. The product is intended for research and further manufacturing use.
