Capricorn Scientific’s FreezeMe ZERO is a chemically defined cryopreservation medium developed for the long-term storage of mammalian cell lines. Its DMSO-free formulation supports the preservation of cellular integrity during freeze–thaw cycles while avoiding the transcriptomic, metabolic and epigenetic effects associated with dimethyl sulfoxide.

The sterile-filtered medium is serum-free and free from animal-derived components. It can be used with adherent and suspension cell lines and supports cryopreservation at cell densities ranging from 1 × 10⁶ to 1 × 10⁸ cells/mL. FreezeMe ZERO is suitable for high-density cell banking and the generation and storage of Master and Working Cell Banks.

This pack contains five individual 10 mL bottles. The smaller units offer easy handling and convenient storage, particularly when the medium is used across separate experiments or cryopreservation sessions. Individual bottles can be handled as required while the remaining units stay stored at +2°C to +8°C. Protect the medium from light.
