FlashGel Recovery Buffer 2 x 500 µl is formulated for direct DNA recovery using FlashGel® Recovery Cassettes. It supports a workflow that removes the need for agarose gel preparation, band excision and purification during DNA recovery.
In the FlashGel® Recovery System, DNA migrates to the second tier of wells, where it is free from the agarose matrix and can be extracted by pipette with the aid of the recovery buffer. The workflow uses a simple 5-10 minute protocol, with samples recovered free from inhibitors and UV-induced damage.
The buffer is supplied as 2 × 500 µl and supports downstream use of recovered samples for re-amplification, cloning or other techniques without additional purification steps.
