Thermo Scientific's E1-ClipTip Bluetooth Equalizer 384 12-Channel Electronic Pipette 2-125 µl is designed for electronic sample transfer across different labware formats. Its 12-channel configuration operates over a volume range of 2–125 µL, as specified in the product name. The adjustable tip-spacing mechanism allows the distance between tips to be expanded or contracted by sliding the scale, supporting transfers between tubes, racks, microplates and horizontal gel boxes.
This adjustable spacing removes the need to keep the tips at one fixed pitch when moving between different vessel arrangements. The operator sets the required distance on the scale to match the receiving or source labware before carrying out the transfer.
The pipette also supports programming from a PC through the My Pipette Creator app. This provides a way to prepare pipetting programs away from the instrument and transfer them to the E1-ClipTip platform. The product combines electronic operation, multichannel handling and adjustable spacing in a single pipette for sample transfers between the row-supported labware types.
