Thermo Fisher's dUTP 100 mM Solution - 0.25 mL is a highly stable preparation of 2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate supplied as a 100 mM aqueous solution. The solution is titrated with NaOH to pH 7.3–7.5 and is provided in a 0.25 mL volume. The nucleotide has greater than 99% purity, confirmed by HPLC. It is free of nuclease activity and free of detectable human and E. coli DNA. These quality characteristics make the solution suitable for molecular biology procedures that require a defined, purified nucleotide source. Supported applications include long-range pcr up to 40 kb, cdna synthesis, rt-pcr, real-time pcr, standard pcr, high-fidelity pcr and primer extension. It is not suitable for PCR with proofreading enzymes or enzyme mixes containing proofreading enzymes. The 100 mM concentration and 0.25 mL pack provide a defined single-nucleotide stock for the listed procedures. The product is supplied as an aqueous nucleotide solution rather than a premixed nucleotide set.
