Thermo Fisher's dNTP Mix, 5 mM each (1 mL) is a ready-to-use nucleotide mixture for molecular biology procedures. The solution contains purified dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP at 5 mM each, giving a total dNTP concentration of 20 mM at pH 7.5.
Using a premixed formulation reduces the number of individual nucleotide additions required during reaction setup. This can simplify pipetting and reduce the risk of errors associated with preparing a four-component dNTP mixture separately.
Purity is confirmed by HPLC, and the mixture is free of human and E. coli DNA. It can be used for cDNA synthesis, PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR and primer-extension procedures.
The dNTP mix is supplied in a 1 mL format. It remains stable for two years when stored at –20°C.
