Thermo Scientific's Armadillo 96-Well PCR Plate, Clear Frame, White Wells, Barcode - 25 Plates is a barcoded 96-well Armadillo PCR plate with a clear polycarbonate frame and white, thin-walled polypropylene U-bottom wells. The plate is designed for PCR and qPCR, including high-throughput formats and robotic handling.
The thermostable frame provides rigidity and mechanical stability during thermal cycling and automated processing. Its ANSI:SBS footprint supports compatibility with robotic systems, while the optically clear skirt aids liquid visualisation and stacking. A raised rim increases the available sealing surface for automated heat sealing, and the indented alphanumeric grid supports well identification.
The low-profile wells have a stated working volume of 200 µL. Their thin-walled U-bottom construction is designed to support heat transfer and sample recovery. The white wells are intended to support sensitivity in qPCR reactions; White plates are also suitable for luminescence-based assays.
The plates are supplied with barcoding and may be provided with customer-specific barcodes for automated applications. This pack contains 25 plates.
