The 0.2 mL 8-Strip Assorted Colors PCR Tubes, Low-Profile, Domed Caps, are optically clear and have angularly attached domed caps. They are manufactured from high-quality virgin polypropylene to ensure purity and provide excellent optical clarity. They come in strips of 8, with 125 strips per unit, and are also available as clear tubes (WB 0451S). For quantitative PCR, the Westburg AmpliStar PCR strips complete our AmpliStar range to stay within budget. Open and close these 0.2 ml low-profile PCR tube strips with individually attached caps.
The domed caps have a tight fit to prevent evaporation and guarantee optimal light permeability for excellent quantitative PCR detection results. Like all our AmpliStar products, the tubes and caps are DNase, RNase, DNA, endotoxin, and PCR inhibitor-free. The low-profile 0.2 ml tubes fall entirely into the wells of the thermocycler bock for optimal thermal transfer from block to sample solution. Furthermore, the tubes are supplied in assorted colors to help you distinguish samples if necessary.
