AccuGENE 10X TAE Buffer 1L is a 10X TAE buffer supplied in a 1 L format. TAE, or Tris-Acetate-EDTA, is made from Tris, EDTA, and acetic acid.
The buffer is often used in procedures involving nucleic acids, with electrophoresis as the most common use. TAE has a lower buffer capacity than TBE and can become exhausted more easily, while linear double-stranded DNA runs faster in TAE.
AccuGENE electrophoresis buffers are formulated to match Lonza Reliant, Latitude, and PAGEr Precast Gels, Long Ranger Gel Solution sequencing products, and the MDE Gel Solution product line. They are prepared with high-quality reagents and 18 megOhm water, and filtered using a 0.45 micron filter.
