Thermo Scientific's ABsolute Blue QPCR SYBR Low ROX Mix 1x 5ml is an optimized 2X master mix for quantitative PCR with SYBR Green detection. It contains Thermo-Start Taq hot-start enzyme and is intended for applications including gene-expression analysis, siRNA validation and genotyping.
An inert blue dye is incorporated into the formulation to increase contrast between the reaction mix and plastic consumables. This allows dispensing into tubes or plates to be checked visually during reaction setup.
The 2X master mix is supplemented with a low concentration of ROX passive reference dye. The product information states that the ABsolute Blue SYBR Green mixes are compatible with major qPCR platforms and are available with different passive reference dye configurations.
This product is supplied as 1 × 5 mL.
