Opto-mechanical surface activation promotes even and consistent cell adhesion and growth. To prevent cell growth up the walls, only the bottom surface is treated.

For optimal gas exchange via the cap you have two options:

1. Filter cap: a 0.22 µm PTFE membrane allows sterile gas exchange via the cap openings

2. VENT cap: turn the screw cap until the ""click"" for aeration. Turn the cap mark to ""3 o'clock"" for gas-tight closure."
