StrepMAB-Immo DY-649 is a murine monoclonal antibody conjugated to a fluorescent dye. It has a high affinity to Strep-tag® and Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins. Possible applications include ELISA, FACS, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry.
For proteins carrying the Strep-tag® with an N-terminal Serine-Alanine linker (protein-SA-WSHPQFEK or SA-WSHPQFEK-protein), the binding affinity is in the pM range. Proteins with other N-terminal sequences bind with a reduced affinity. The Twin-Strep-tag® includes an N-terminal SA-linker (WSHPQFEK-GGGS-GGGS-GGSA-WSHPQFEK).
The absorption/emission maximum of the fluorescent dye is 655/676 nm.
For Western Blots, the Strep-Tactin®, Strep-Tactin®XT, or the StrepMAB-Classic conjugates are recommended.
