Strep-Tactin®XT is a streptavidin variant that binds to Strep-tag®II or Twin-Strep-tag® with high affinity and specificity. The Strep-Tactin®XT DY-649 can be used in applications like flow cytometry, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry, as the Strep-Tactin®XT is conjugated to DY-649.
This enables you to detect Strep-tag®II or Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins directly. The fluorescent dye's absorption/emission maximum is 655/676 nm.
