The 50% suspension of Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® is coupled to the high-affinity ligand Strep-Tactin®XT and can be used for the purification of Strep-tag®II and Twin-Strep-tag® proteins. The resin delivers outstanding target purity (>95%), a high binding affinity, and a low agarose concentration. It is recommended for all protein classes, particularly low-abundant or challenging proteins. For proteins with an increased affinity, like those with multiple tags or multimers, using a Strep-Tactin® resin is recommended. The suspension format allows the packing of custom gravity flow columns. As it is a 50% suspension, 2 ml is needed for a 1 ml resin bed volume.
The excellent pressure stability enables the use of Strep-Tactin®XT 4Flow® in FPLC setups.
