These SafeStore tubes are manufactured from a proprietary resin and are for homogenization using bead handles, iron, glass, and ceramic beads. Homogenization requires tubes, such as these, that can withstand the rigors of lysis applications and are shatter-resistant. These 2.0 ml tubes are non-sterile, certified free of detectable RNase, DNase, DNA, and PCR inhibitors, and tested pyrogen-free.
The SafeStore 2.0ml Bead Beating screw tubes come with preassembled silicon rubber o-ring caps that ensure leakproof sealing.
