The Arvensis® B-Frame® 0.3 mL BIOCOMPOSITE, Semi-Skirted, ABI-style, Clear, 96-Well PCR Plates are well-suited for environmentally conscious researchers.
The thin-walled wells are manufactured from 100% virgin medical grade low bind polypropylene, and the rigid biocomposite frames are produced from plant biomass, which has been sustainably sourced. The use of biomass reduces the amount of petroleum-derived plastic necessary to manufacture PCR plates by 43-51%, depending on the frame style.
The 0.3 mL ABI-style PCR Plate is designed for compatibility with most ABI thermal cyclers and comes with an A12 cut corner. In addition, the wells are easily identifiable due to the white letters and numerals. The semi-skirted plate enables optimal block fit and prevents the warping when picked up by robotic arms. This low-profile plate is ideal for fast-type thermocyclers. The typical working volume of the wells is 25 ul - 200 ul, with a maximum holding volume of 330 ul.
