They are manufactured from high-quality virgin polypropylene to ensure purity and provide excellent optical clarity. They come in strips of 8, with 125 strips per unit.
For quantitative PCR, the Westburg AmpliStar PCR strips complete our AmpliStar range to stay within budget. Open and close these 0.2 ml low-profile PCR tube strips with individual cap strips. The domed caps give you a secure sealing and thermocycler fit. Like all our AmpliStar products, the caps and tubes are DNase, RNase, DNA, endotoxin, and PCR inhibitor-free. The low-profile 0.2 ml tubes fall entirely into the wells of the thermocycler bock for optimal thermal transfer from block to sample solution.
